The best material to use for a drawer sachet is fabric, felt, paper, or even a sock!

What is in the Christmas sachet?

You can add any of the following ingredients to your sachet: rice, cotton balls, Epson salts, bay leaves, cinnamon sticks, cloves, dried orange peel, nutmeg, whole allspice berries, cardamom pods, or essential oils for scenting that lasts.

Christmas Sachets To Make

Now let’s go over how to make scented paper sachets with three different Christmas sachet recipes.

This will go over the recipes I use for how to make sachet filling for Christmas-scented envelope sachets.

For these DIY scent sachets, you will need rice, dried fruit, spices, and drops of essential oil.

Mulled Wine Christmas Scented Sachet Recipe

Ingredients:

Instructions:

1. Pour the rice into a bowl.

2. Add about 7 drops of mandarin essential oil.

3. Add about 3 drops of clove essential oil.

4. Stir the oil into the rice thoroughly.

5. You can add a few extra drops if you feel it needs more.

6. Add the rest of the ingredients (enough to your liking).

7. Mix thoroughly.

8. Add one or two scoops to each sachet and seal with a glue stick.

(Please note that the essential oil might cause oil stains on the paper sachet. If you prefer, replace the oil with dried cloves and more orange/mandarin peels.)

Ingredients:

2. Add about 5 drops of nutmeg essential oil.

3. Add about 5 drops of ginger essential oil.

4. Stir the oil into the rice thoroughly.

8. Add one or two scoops to each sachet and seal with a glue stick.

(Please note that the essential oil might cause oil stains on the paper sachet. If you prefer, replace the oil with dried nutmeg and ginger peels.)

7. Add one or two scoops to each sachet and seal with a glue stick.
